Description of the Difference Between Double-Sided and Multilayer PCB:
A PCB double-sided board is a board that is wired on both sides of the board. An important feature of the double-sided board is that it has guide holes to connect the wires on both sides to form a circuit. The wiring of double-sided panels can be staggered, which is the biggest difference from single-sided panels; double-sided panels are more suitable for complex circuits and have a wider range of applications.
PCB multilayer board is simply to use more single and double boards alternately through insulating materials and positioning systems, and then interconnect the lines to form a multilayer circuit board. For example, use a double-sided board as the inner layer and two single-sided boards as the inner layer. The inner layer is formed into a four-layer board through technology. The design of the multi-layer board is more flexible, and the electrical performance is more stable and reliable.
